How old do I have to be to play
You can play if your between the ages of 4½ and 18 on July 31 of the current year.

Will I play with kids my own age
AYSO is broken up into 2 year age groups so the oldest kid you will play with will be no more than 1 year older.

Will I play with kids in my own school
AYSO is broken up into regions that sometimes take in more than 1 school but are usually composed of no more than the nearest communities.

What do I need to play soccer
In order to play AYSO soccer you need a pair of soccer shoes, shin guards to protect your legs and a soccer ball to practice with. As part of your registration fee you will be provided with a uniform and soccer insurance that is good for any AYSO sponsored event.

Can my parents coach me
Your parents are encouraged to volunteer to coach and referee. There are many other jobs for them to participate if they cant coach or referee. They can be team moms, coordinate the picture day, car pool for games, plan the post season party or run the region.
